Successful AIAS 2026 — 1st International Conference on Artificial Intelligence, Autonomous Systems, and Aerospace
It was our great honour and privilege to host the 2026 International Conference on Artificial Intelligence, Autonomous Systems, and Aerospace (AIAS 2026), which was successfully held from January 16 to 18, 2026 in Harbin, China. Hosted by Harbin University of Science and Technology, the conference gathered distinguished overseas and domestic experts, scholars, engineers and young researchers. Over three‑day sessions, participants freely exchanged ideas, technical bottlenecks, research opportunities and forward‑looking perspectives covering artificial intelligence, autonomous systems, aerospace intelligence and related interdisciplinary research fields.
Warmest congratulations to all speakers, including plenary speakers, invited keynote speakers and oral presenters for their insightful and interactive presentations. More than 300 participants from well‑known universities and research institutions across the globe attended this event, such as Brunel University London, University of Jaén, Harbin Institute of Technology, Beijing Institute of Technology, National University of Defense Technology and other renowned organisations. Presentations covered large‑language‑model fusion technologies, intelligent fault diagnosis, aerospace intelligent control, safety estimation, disturbance rejection and optimal filtering, bringing rich academic insights for technological innovation in AI‑empowered autonomous and aerospace systems.
We express sincere gratitude to the opening‑session guests for their opening remarks and valuable guidance. Special thanks go to all plenary and parallel‑session chairs for their professional work keeping each session running smoothly.
We acknowledge the great efforts and dedication from the Conference Organising Committee, the School of Automation and School of Science of Harbin University of Science and Technology, co‑organising institutions, key laboratories and AEIC Academic Exchange Information Centre for technical support. Our gratitude also goes to all volunteers who provided solid on‑site support throughout the three‑day conference. Appreciation is extended to the local administrative team for their continuous logistical support for this event.
Two parallel sessions were well‑received by attendees. Scholars carried out in‑depth discussions on aerospace intelligent perception and recognition, intelligent decision‑making algorithms for aircraft, aerospace big‑data intelligent processing, deep‑learning‑driven aerospace applications, multi‑agent collaborative control and autonomous system optimisation. The conference also launched selection activities for excellent papers, outstanding oral reports and excellent posters to recognise innovative research outputs, promoting in‑depth academic communication across disciplines.
Moving forward, the conference team will keep building a high‑level interdisciplinary academic exchange platform, strengthen domestic and international academic cooperation, boost integration between academic research and industrial practice, and continuously drive technological advances within artificial intelligence, autonomous systems and aerospace‑related fields.
